ZAYP is an NGO, based in Zanzibar (Tanzania). We work towards enhancing education, promoting business initiatives, fostering environmental conservation, and nurturing sports and cultural activities, all with the aim of creating diverse opportunities for the local community.
ZAYP stands for Zan Charitable Youth Promotion Organization, an NGO dedicated to assisting and supporting rural communities in Zanzibar
About “Malouda“, the founder of ZAYP
Hassan Saleh, known as “Malouda”, founded ZAYP in 2016 when he was just 20 years old. He is an inspiring communicator, a natural leader, and a dedicated teacher.
At the tender age of 2, he tragically lost his father, and he persevered through hardship, relying on his mother’s income as a housemaid to fund his education from elementary school to university.
Hassan’s challenging life journey became the catalyst for initiating this movement to support the rural communities of Zanzibar, particularly focusing on orphans, street children, unemployed youth, and the elderly.
